I haven’t liked every song on an album in forever. In fact, the only others that come to mind are Simon and Garfunkel’s “Greatest Hits”, The Beatles’ “Abbey Road” (which is my favourite album of all time, hands down, no question), and maybe the “(500) Days of Summer” soundtrack.

Three favourite bands: The Beatles are an easy top choice. I’d also say The Mamas & The Papas and… Hm. I’m going to go with Simon and Garfunkel. There’s a theme here.
basedamerica asked: 8 & what's your favorite band? c:
8. How often do I listen to music - Every day. I’m one of those people who has to have music in the background of whatever I’m doing, especially when I’m doing work or walking somewhere. Maybe a couple of times a week, I’ll take a few minutes to actually just listen to music and do nothing else. As a musician, music is something that I cherish :)
And as for favourite band, that’s easily the Beatles. There are a lot of other bands/artists that I love, but none as dearly as the Beatles. I’ve grown up with their music and there’s no other group whose songs touch me the same way.

There was a lot of good food, and a lot of excellent movies and TV. I made homemade tomato sauce with my mom and drank a little too much wine while we watched “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”. My dad and I stuffed ourselves on coconut cream pie and watched Peter Sellers’ “Pink Panther” movies. Sellers was disguised as a Swedish pirate with an inflatable parrot on his shoulder, and we laughed ourselves silly. My boyfriend and I watched two episodes of BBC’s “Sherlock” and kissed a lot. Now I’m on a train back to school. I love how civilised trains are- they’re so spacious and clean and you can walk around whenever you want. I’m listening to Lana Del Rey (because what else do I do with my life?) and, of course, finishing “Timequake”.
Uh-oh, guys. I’m about to say it. I can feel it coming.
Everything is beautiful and nothing hurts.
